Founding School For The
Royal Conservatory of Music
Monique and Michele Nardone
are sisters who have grown up in the Palos Verdes Area. Both have been extensively trained on the Violin, Viola and Piano. Not only are they both Professional Performers but are Certified Suzuki Teacher Members SAA, (South Bay Branch), as well as belonging to SMACLA & American String Teachers Association .
Both Michele and Monique teach Privately in their Studios, as well as conducting weekly Group Ensemble Classes and Orchestra Performance Training at Hesse Park in Palos Verdes. These classes are for adults as well as children. There are some prerequisites for these classes which will be posted. We are launching a new exciting program and schedule for these Group Classes which are to begin this September 4, 2011. Please see our Class Schedules for details.
Recently the Students of Palos Verdes Strings were invited to perform at the prestigious Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles. It was a memorable evening of entertainment performed by the students, dressed in formal attire and performing for an appreciative audience of friends, family and well wishers. A wonderful evening was had by all. See some of the photographs of this festive event posted on our Slide Show Page. We are so proud and feel extremely privileged to have been honored to perform in this elite venue, that supports the Arts!
All of our students are encouraged to participate in Events and Group Performances put on by Palos Verdes Strings in our local community. We strive to enhance professionalism in many areas of performing for all students and all ages, including taking part in our once a year Holiday Gala Show.
Once a year our Advanced Students are eligible to be tested for Accreditation to receive Certificates of Merits and move on to achieve higher levels of training.
